Copyright Infringement and Registration

Copyright registration and licensing: LT Pacific Law Group is experienced in registering copyrights with the U.S. Copyright Office.  Although it is possible to register your own copyright, LT Pacific Law Group has the experience and skill to communicate with the U.S. Copyright Office to make sure the copyright registration process goes smoothly and that the work is protected against future infringement.

LT Pacific Law Group is also experienced in preparing and negotiating copyright licensing agreements.

Copyright infringement cases: We represent both Plaintiffs and Defendants in copyright infringement cases.  Some examples of our past cases include matters involving copyrights in music (CD’s, CDG’s, and downloads), computer software, DVD’s, theater musicals, owners manuals, websites, and publications.

Besides handling cases in California federal courts, we have litigated copyright and other intellectual property cases for California clients who have been sued in federal courts in many other states, including Alabama, Ohio, Tennessee, Texas, and Virginia.

If you are an entity, individual, or attorney outside of California that has been sued in California, we can serve as local counsel for cases in the United States District Court, Central District of California, the Los Angeles Superior Court, and all other courts in California.
